Tip: Trekking to Batad entails a lot of walking uphill and downhill. It is best to prepare yourself physically prior to the tour. Most inns do not have hot water. Best to bring your own small water heater as the water can get really cold.
What to wear: Weather is cold in the Mountain Province so bring appropriate clothes to keep you warm. You will walk most of the time so wear comfy walking shoes or sandals to avoid blisters.
Day 1. Arrival in Banaue. Register then meet your local guide to Batad. Ride the jeep going to Batad Junction. Start the trek to Batad Saddle View Point. Be amazed at the Batad Rice Terraces when you reach the Batad Viewpoint. Be sure to take photos. Check in & Rest. After lunch, start of the 2nd half of the trek to Tappiya Falls and Native Village. Trek back to the inn & rest.
Day 2. After early breakfast, trek back to Batad Junction Road. Ride back the jeep back to Banaue. Leave Banaue and have a late lunch at Solano then travel back to Manila.
