Food: International cuisine is almost present in the posh dining restaurants. But make sure you try authentic Davao cuisine which is of simple every day dishes prepared the Davao way! Try their Kinilaw na Tuna, Sinuglaw, Pasayan, Sutukil. To end your meal, have a Durian pie with a coffee. You won't regret it.
What to wear: Light casual clothing is practical for summer together with hat & sunglasses. During rainy season, bring pashmina to keep you warm when the night gets chilly.
Tip: Try to visit during their Kadayawan Festival however be warned that this is the time when the number of tourists is at its peak.
Make sure you try their Durian. Durian season starts August and the rate can go down as low as Php 25/kilo.
