What to wear: Light, loose fitting clothes is advisable. Layering is best as you can easily remove your jackets or cardigans as needed. Avoid wearing white clothes as it will not remain white and avoid wearing black as it will absorb heat. Light, neutral colored clothes are best. Wear modestly when entering mosques.
Tip: Use discretion when you photograph. Taking pictures of military personnel or facilities is not allowed. Never take a close-up photograph of Muslim women with covered faces or Orthodox Jewish men or women without first asking permission.
